The Edge-R-Rite is a turf edger with a unique blade action. Instead of using a high speed rotary blade, the Edge-R-Rite blade oscillates back and forth like a sod cutter blade. The blade reverses direction 1000 times per minute, cutting through the unwanted turf without throwing debris. Clean up time is reduced, since the debris is not thrown into the flower bed or sand trap. Instead it lays right there where it was cut for easy pick up with a rake or shovel. The Turfco Lawn Edger we rent has 3 blade options: Right Angle: For use on golf course sand traps, flower beds and tree rings. Overgrowth is cut vertically and horizontally making cleanup fast and easy because debris is not thrown into the sand trap or flower bed. Can be used to install edging. Circular: For a vertical cut along sidewalks, driveways, patios and curbs. Ten inch diameter blade oscillates to cut like a pizza cutter eliminating thrown debris. Cuts through overgrowth a rotary edger can not handle. 3" Sod Cutter: For cutting a 3" strip of sod. Use to install concrete and wood edging, often used for installation of invisible dog fence wire.
